WPI Recreation Center & Parking Garage

These buildings involved unique challenges during the installation of the utilities as the site was quite small in size and included deep running utility lines along with a deep foundation which included an Olympic sized pool with difficult drainage and other service requirements. A large and expansive underground detention system was also installed to handle run off from both the new building and the parking garage itself. Another unique feature of this project was the installation of a Turf Athletic Field on top of the parking garage which was included as part of our contract.

The Recreation Center and Parking Garage projects were completed in 2013 with final contract value approaching $9 million dollars.
