Billerica High School
Location: Billerica, MA
Marois Brothers, Inc. contracted with Shawmut Design and Construction to perform all site development responsibilities for the construction of the new $176 Million Dollar Billerica High School in the Town of Billerica. This project consisted of a re-development of the existing high school property through a coordinated and phased timeline. We worked with Shawmut to get the new school building underway while maintaining a safe environment while the existing high school remained in use. Once the new building was completed and demolition of the old school was finished, we then completed our remaining work which consisted of not only parking areas and roadways but also ball fields and turf field preparation for the school’s athletic activities.
Marois Brothers handled all grading, excavation, utility and drainage for the project along with coordinating all subcontracted work which included landscaping, fencing and paving work. The new Billerica High School opened to students in the fall of 2019 and we will be completing the remaining fields and exterior work in the summer of 2020.
