Southbridge Industrial Access Roadway
Location: Route 169, Southbridge, MA
This project consisted of the installation on a new 5,000 LF roadway with all associated utilities for the development of an Industrial Park for the Town of Southbridge. Marois Brothers, Inc. was responsible for all aspects of the project from clearing and grading to full utility installation and final roadway construction. We worked closely with local Town representatives and engineering consultants to satisfy their requirements and finish the project on time.
We installed all utility lines including sewer, water and drainage as well as offsite force main installation. This project involved the appropriate handling of excessive drainage issues due to significant elevation changes within the site. The project was completed in December of 2010 when the roadway opened. The Town of Southbridge utilizes this for access to the Town landfill and other industrial land. Our contract value for this project exceeded $5 million dollars.
